Hello! I'm Josh
I am currently a second-year business student at RMIT majoring in both Marketing and People & Organizations. Upon the completion of my degree, I plan to venture into either of one these industries (or both) and generate an immediate impact with whatever company I become associated with. I am always a willing worker who seeks unique and enticing experiences to not only further my own career path but to develop long-term relationships with whomever I meet throughout these experiences.

EDUCATION
2023-2025
RMIT UNIVERSITY
Bachelor of Business Degree
RMIT University is where I am currently honing my abilities as a future business prospect. Obtaining and refining skills that are specific to my selected majors: those being marketing & people and organizations. The various group assignments I have partaken in has elevated my attributes of communication and collaboration, while also improving my adaptability skills for when group projects don't go as planned. Additionally, the course content has amplified my elements of critical thinking and problem-solving by addressing real-life complications that businesses are facing in present day, preparing me for similar scenarios in the future.

2017-2022
OFFICER SECONDARY COLLEGE
In RMIT, I have acquired my Peer Mentoring credential, where I assist newer RMIT students who are currently undertaking classes that I have previously scored exceptionally high on. Addressing any queries, concerns or questions regarding the content to the best of my ability.
High School Diploma
Throughout my high school tenure, I have gained various long-term relations with my peers who I still contact and interact with to this day. Further emphasizing my importance in values such as collaboration, communication and bonding. During high school I participated in various curriculums mostly regarding sporting events. However, my most proud inclusion was when me and my friends organized a 'Pink Day' event to raise money for breast cancer awareness. Due to me and my groups efficient organization skills, we ended up raising a near one thousand dollars for the McGrath Foundation.

TESTIMONALS
Tate Barnes: University Colleague
Chantelle Jones: Coworker
I was assigned to complete a group assignment valued at fifty percent alongside Josh. Immediately, he took initiative asking every group member which part of the assignment they would prefer to complete as he was willing to the 'tedious' sections. Throughout the duration of the assignment, Josh provided constant updates of his timeline of progress, while ensuring the rest of the group were held accountable for completing their parts. Additionally, when of our group members suddenly dropped out, Josh once again took initiative by emailing our tutor on the situation granting us a justifiable extension. He also separated the dismissed member's workload to the remaining members that granted us an above average grade overall for the assignment.
I have been working with Josh at Splash's for about a year now, and it is very clear that he is beloved by his students, their parents and his peers alike. Which is evident by all the amazing feedback I have heard about him. He is constantly seeking knowledge from veteran staff to enhance his own skills, while also training newer recruits perfect their swim teaching abilities. Josh is also extremely willing to participate in extra curriculums around the workplace such as teaching in school programs and marketing our company to the local community. This is a testament to not only his work ethic but his desire to gain a variety of diverse skills to accompany his future career path.
Trent Howard: Highschool Companion
I've known Josh since early high school and have been great friends with him ever since. His high scoring results in a variety of different classes is not only a testament to how fast he adapts and understands new concepts but also to his work ethic ensuring he places all of his abilities to be great at what he does. Despite his academic nature, Josh still greatly values cooperation and friendly relationships as displayed by his friend groups that are different in both interests and background. More evidence of how he can adapt and thrive in any situation to achieve not only his personal beliefs but the overall goals a company or business may have.
